ABOUT THE FOUNDER
When Mayhill Moon founder, Laura Andersen, was about 6 years old, she came up with ad copy for a famous shoe store chain. She only pitched the copy to her mom, but that’s when the love (OK, obsession) with advertising and marketing began.
Laura obtained her degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Unlike traditional graduates, she was already working in her field of study as the Marketing Director for a home theater company during the end of her college career. Then, the small town girl got the urge to have a big city experience and she continued her marketing career at an advertising agency in Chicago. Fun fact: her interview follow-up with that agency was a toilet brush and a thank you note. See? Being different works!
Her client experience at the agency included Visa, Microsoft, eBay, Jamba Juice, Jim Beam and Egyptian Cotton, just to name a few.
Now, with Mayhill Moon, she’s bringing big strategic thinking to brands of all sizes.
Oh, and she’s a two-time marathoner and a mom to triplets. It’s safe to say she can handle big challenges.
